I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but a few months ago, in -- of all places of course -- Los Angeles, a man sued match.com for fraud. He claimed that match.com was using "fake profiles and sham e-mail winks" from women who either did not exist, or... who had fake profiles -- just so they could keep him as a subscriber.
Then, in Fort Lauderdale, another man sued yahoo.com personal ads (a place I've met some of the worst women around, actually) for damages, saying they too, post fake profiles to generate interest and give the site a more attractive appearance.
The plaintiffs in both of these cases say these companies are doing this on a MASS basis, just to keep their revenue stream coming in. Meaning, that if men get more "hits", then they'll be encouraged to keep their Memberships longer.
I have NO idea whether or not this is true, but even more important, I hope you're not wasting even one moment of your valuable time thinking about crap like this.
Why? The answer is simple: None of this matters and who cares!
