One of the MOST important things you need to do, whenever you're prospecting for women, is to make sure they're qualified -- BEFORE you start wasting time on them.
Let me give you an example of what I mean -- using a topic that has NOTHING at all to do with women, but everything to do with pre-qualifying your "prospects".
As you may already know, I initially started making big-time money running a pest control company.
I built my pest control company, called "Chet's Pest Control", into the largest independently-owned pest-control company in Central Florida (And believe me, in Central Florida, sometimes it seems like there's more pest control companies than there are pests!)
Anyway, when I first started in business, I was hungry and dumb, like most young business-owners.
So, I knocked on absolutely every single door I could find, asking for business.
I ran ads in every single local newspaper, magazine, yellow pages book, flyer, pennysaver -- you name it, I ran an ad in it.
And you know what happened?
Virtually... Nothing!
That's right -- just like everyone else who's running ads, my ads didn't pull any response either. The only ones making any cash off my ads were the ad reps!
Anyway, not to get into a long and drawn out story about my business, but once I changed my ad, to start GIVING something away, like this: "FREE Report Reveals 10 Things About The Pest Control Business, Your Local Bug Guy DOESN'T Want You To Know!", guess what happened?
People started responding.
And suddenly, after they read my report, a very high percentage of the people who initially called up for the report, quickly became my clients.
Interesting, hey?
Why was that?
What was I doing so differently?
Simply this: I was not "pre-qualifying" my prospects.
After all, there's a big difference between the quality of some dummy calling me on the phone and asking me "How much do you charge"... and someone else who's left me their name and phone number on a voice mail, received my information in the mail, and then read through my nice, long and informative special report and been "pre-sold" on my company and our services.
The second person is much more interested in working with me, and therefore they're much more "pre-qualified."
Make sense?
